| What does it takes to battle and survive tuberculosis? |
| A survivor has to face immense physical as well as mental, societal and economic toll while fighting against this infectious disease. From coping with severe side effects to experiencing stigma, a TB survivor’s journey to recovery is full of challenges and roadblocks. This World Tuberculosis Day, we met Meera Yadav, TB survivor and activist, and Leena Menghaney, South Asia Head, MSF Access Campaign and discussed the needs of patients and the barriers we need to overcome to make TB care better for everyone. |

| Towards a better TB treatment |
|
|
After 10 years of extensive research, an independent board has determined that the treatment our teams provided to people with multi drug-resistant tuberculosis in clinical trial, TB PRACTECAL is superior to the current standard of care. Now, all TB patients could be cured with no more than six months of treatment.
