MANIPUR
This World Hepatitis Day, MSF in Manipur organised events to raise awareness about the importance of screening, diagnosis and treatment of Hepatitis C. Following this year’s theme – Finding the Missing Millions - our teams organised plays, musical performances, and talks for patients, staff and external stakeholders on how together we can fight this deadly disease.

MEERUT
Ahead of the World Hepatitis Day on 28 July, MSF organised an event at the PL Sharma District Hospital in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. MSF teams along with the National Health Mission officials, patients treated at the clinic, and school students held a rally in Meerut city to raise awareness about the disease. As part of the event, we also unveiled a mural depicting various ways this deadly disease is transmitted and performed a street play at the hospital on the same day.

There is nothing better than organising a Missing Maps party. Last month, MSF organised mapathons at Bloomberg offices in eight countries and mapped 97% of the unmapped area in Moissala in Chad. In India, Bloomberg team in Mumbai identified over 4,000 unmapped buildings in Chad. MSF is launching a new maternal and child health support program in the district. This effort will help our teams in reaching the populations in remote areas.
